Low cost baitcast set-up - $40

Postby Derek on Tue Jan 12, 2010 12:44 pm

Berkley Bionix 6'-6" medium action, 1/4-1 oz lures, 10-25lb line
Daiwa Procaster Tournament 100BL, 6.2:1, left hand, 5 ball bearings

Since I got another rod for christmas I no longer need this set-up. $40 is a little less then half what I paid for this set-up last season. This is a cheaper set-up but I used it for cranking last year, I caught many fish on it and it works well. I will service the reel before you get it, so just add line and you will be set for next year.

Can be picked up in Sterling or Marlborough, or I have the tube to ship it (you pay shipping)

Man that does sound like a great deal. I just sunk nearly $300- on other gear though, I promised myself I wouldn't. We've been getting great deals offered in the Classifieds lately, though.
- Twas on the Fifth day that the fish and fowl were created.
- On the Sixth day He made man in His image and let him have dominion over the fish of the sea, and the fowl of the air.
- On the Seventh day the Lord rested, and I picked up my rod and gun.

Sounds like our first sale in the classifieds.
