Music Question...

Postby Regional BASStard on Sat Jan 30, 2010 6:27 am

So, I was talking with Crazy over my birhday weekend about music. We came up with a lot of our favorites and such, but what we came down to talking about was what embarrassed us that we liked...

So, let's hear it...Everyone has a song on their music library that they would be embarrassed if a friend saw it there....what's yours? :?
Feel how easily the bait moves? That's a rock.
Feel it pull? You're taking it through vegetation.
Feel it grow light? Your on a brush pile.
Feel it explode and almost jerk the rod from your hand?
Thats a bass.

I have you all beat and will win the tournament or be shot and thrown overboard if I play this aloud then.

"Pulse" compilation CD. It's in the iPod and available with some quick thumb action.

Here's the playlist, with my favorites in Bold:

Disc: 1
1. Get Ready For This - 2 Unlimited
2. Rhythm Is A Dancer - Snap!
3. 100% Pure Love - Crystal Waters
4. Mr. Vain - Culture Beat
5. Show Me Love - Robin S.
6. Please Don't Go - KWS
7. I'm Gonna Get You - Bizarre Inc. featuring Angie Brown
8. Beautiful Life- Ace of Base
9. What's Up - DJ Miko
10. Move This - Technotronic
11. Tonight Is The Night - Le Click
12. You Only Have To Say You Love Me - Hannah Jones
13. Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop)- Scatman John
14. Give It Up - The Goodmen
15. Set U Free - Planet Soul

Disc: 2
1. Another Night - Real McCoy
2. Finally - Ce Ce Peniston
3. Be My Lover - La Bouche
4. Boom Boom Boom - Outhere Brothers
5. More And More - Captain Hollywood Project
6. What Is Love? - Hadaway
7. Everbody's Free - Rozalla
8. Twilight Zone - 2 Unlimited
9. I Like To Move It - Reel 2 Real
10. Rhythm Of The Night - Corona
11. Feels So Good (Show Me Your Love)- Lina Santiago
12. Wiggle It - 2 in a Room
13. Power of Love - Deee-lite
14. Your Loving Arms - Billy Ray Martin
15. Something Good - Utah Saints

Fond memories of spending summers in the city and Revere Beach back in junior high listening to this stuff. If I was a couple of years older at the time and hitting the club I would have been a sure bet on multiple airings of Maury.

I never owned any of the included artists' albums but asked my at the time girlfriend for the cd for Christmas back in I think 2001 when I saw it on tv.

What's sad is I could probably win all the money on that show The Singing Bee if they played this stuff.

Can't believe they left out Marky Mark and Bel Biv DeVoe.

Scatman was definitely on our playlist one year.
- Twas on the Fifth day that the fish and fowl were created.
- On the Sixth day He made man in His image and let him have dominion over the fish of the sea, and the fowl of the air.
- On the Seventh day the Lord rested, and I picked up my rod and gun.
